A Pelham ventriloquist's doll "Carrot Tops" from the film "Lily", with painted head, hands and feet, ginger wig, cotton clothes with tweed flat cap and jacket, 16" high Provenance: Bought for Stephen Walker (1945-2014) of Dewsbury, aged 10 or 11, who became a popular successful ventriloquist and magician, and emigrated to Australia with Carrot Tops in 1968
