A LATE GEORGE III SILVER QUADRUPLE DECANTER STAND by Daniel Pontifex, London 1810, the plain arcaded support with central escallop shell cast spade handle raised on four anthemion supports on paw feel issuing from a plain rounded square base with cast and applied gadrooned rim with shell and leaf cast angles, raised upon four paw feet, 10 1/2" square, 49ozs 13dwts, together with four probably contemporary spirit decanters with mushroom stoppers, slice cut shoulders over diamond and slice cut panels, 7" high, contained in a later baize lined oak carrying case (Illustrated)
