A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER MOUNTED DARK BROWN STONEWARE NOVELTY MUSTARD, modelled as a seated bear with carved fur detail holding a stavel barrel, with plain silver mount and half hinged cover with "twig" handle, by John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham 1895, base impressed 2705, 3" high N.B. These bear cruets are generally made by Doulton Lambeth and attributed to Mark V. Marshall. However, this bear is unmarked and appears to be German
