A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER HEART SHAPED BOX by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1895, the lift-off cover chased with the head portrait of Charley's Aunt, the base engraved December 21st 1895, 2" wide, together with a novelty silver ring box by Samuel M Levi, Birmingham 1907, modelled as a small chest on four legs, 1 1/2" wide, and a circular box with hinged tortoiseshell pique cover, Birmingham 1926, 2" diameter (3) NB Charley's Aunt is a farce by Brandon Thomas, first performed at the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds in February 1892. It then opened at the Royalty Theatre, London in December 1892 quickly transferring to the larger Globe in January 1893. The production broke the historic record for the longest-running play worldwide, running for 1,469 performances
