OF RAF INTEREST - a George V 9ct gold cigarette case/compact, Birmingham 1918, of canted oblong form, one side engraved with the RAF insignia, the other script "M", hinged and opening to reveal an aperture for powder and a small circular mirror opposite the cigarette holder, on a chain handle, 3 1/4" x 2", 85.9g gross Provenance: The descendants of Marjory Hall-Smith, whose first husband died early in the 1st World War.
