A LATE GEORGE III SAMPLER, 1797, worked by Elizabeth Brotherton, aged 10(?), in coloured silks in full cross stitch on a fine woven ground with a central "Hymn" below upper and lower case alphabet and Arabic numerals 1-12, over a row of potted flowering shrubs and within a stylised tulip border, 19 1/2" square, framed with plexiglass (Est. plus 24% premium inc.
