A PAIR OF VICTORIAN HEAVY GLASS TUMBLERS of panelled cylindrical form, both with naïve scratch engraving, 'HRH The Prince of Wales Drank Cyder Cup out of this glass, in the Pavilion, on the Ch. Ch. Cricket Ground, Oxford, June 5th 1860', and 'Annie Nixon. Chelford, Aug. 22nd.1874', 5 1/4" high NB Bertie, Prince of Wales, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's eldest, 'studied' at Christ Church College, Oxford, where he was a member of the Bullingdon Club and the cricket team (Est. plus 24% premium inc.
